Adoption Centre / Thrift Shop
南丫島動物保護組織，是一個注冊慈善團體，我們致力照顧南丫島上動物︰推廣為寵物做絕育手術、進行流浪貓領域護理計劃、為無家動物尋找新的家。我們的經費，除了由各界人士捐助，大部份是靠我們義賣店的收益。在這裏為大家介紹一下我們的義賣店。
我們的義賣店分兩個部份，一個是精品義賣店，店內幾份全部物品是由支持我們工作的朋友所捐出，其中有新的或是二手的︰書籍、cd./vcd/dvd、玩具、文具、家居用品、傢俱、飾物、精品、電器、電子產品等等。店內的運作，全靠支持者的捐助，可以的話，我們希望各位可以考慮捐贈一些您不再需要、但仍能使用的物品給我們，作為義賣用途。這個方式，既不為捐贈者做成金錢上的支出，還可以達到循環使用的環保效果，也為我們的運作籌募經費，一舉三得。但請注意︰基於衛生理由，我們不能接受二手衣物。捐贈物品可交到我們的義賣店，或者以電郵或電話與我們聯絡，由我們的義工在港島接收。
另一部份是我們的寵物用品店，我們會經營一些寵物食品及用品，一來方便島上的朋友，另一方面可以為我們組織購取經費。義賣店和寵物用品店的全部收益都是用於照顧南丫島上的動物。
LAWC is th registered animal welfare charity. To raise funds for what we do, we operate an Adoption Centre / Thrift Shop on Lamma. Most of the items sold in the Thrift Shop are donated by our supporters: including new or used books, cd/vcd/dvd, toys, househould appliances, furniture, electrical/electronic products, accessories etc. Please consider giving us the things that you no longer need (except for hygenic reasons we will not accept second-hand clothings and shoes). Donations can be sent to our shop, or you can contact us so that we can try to arrange a volunteer to take the donations from you at a mutually convenient location. Thank you for your support.!
